So I inherited a 1980s vintage Bersa 383a. It's practically new; if it was even shot, maybe only a mag or two.
I cleaned and lubed it up, and took it to the range. While it shot really well, every other round the slide would stop short of returning to battery; maybe the last 1/4" or so. I could easily push it back with my finger. This happened with both range ammo and hollow points.
I thought I was riding the slide, but even when I purposely lay my thumb well below the slide, it still...
